Vitamin D

There’s nothing I love more than being outside and in the sun. The warm sunshine on my skin is both comforting and relaxing. Sun exposure can be therapeutic with positive and mood-boosting benefits.

  • Serotonin – I notice a positive state of mind especially on bright and sunny days. Sun exposure is said to increase serotonin levels and elevate one’s mood.
  • Vitamin D – Vitamin D aids in stronger bones, immunity and more. Spending time outside is a direct and natural way to increase vitamin D levels.
