Early one morning while checking my emails, I received an email from Vogue saying they had an opportunity for me. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Vogue a few times previous, however this email was different. Later that day, I jumped on a call with them where they explained they had been admiring my journey as a mother and business owner and they wanted to highlight the beauty and self care rituals I prioritize and practice to stay grounded. Not only was this something I was truly passionate about but it was in partnership with a brand I truly felt connected. In collaboration with Aveeno, I was able to share my personal story while highlighting a brand i’ve been religiously using since I was a child.  

To know how important this collaboration is to me, I have to take you back to when I was a young girl. When I was twelve years old, I had the worst eczema flare up of my life. As you can imagine, having this skin condition during such a pivotal moment in growing up was hard. I vividly remember trying everything on the market and the only thing that worked to soothe my eczema was applying Aveeno. Looking back at that time in my life, I would have never imagined that I would be working with Aveeno years later as a face of such an intimate campaign and story.
